Chart notes
DEEPINGREEN was reserved just off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the second turn, responded when set down for the drive and was up in the closing yards. FATS DOMINUS was away in good order to set a pressured pace from the inside, opened a clear margin nearing the five-sixteenths pole, remained in control through mid-stretch but could not resist the winner from over the top. ROCKET POWER lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the second turn and finished with a steady bid. BENNY THE JET chased the leaders while racing three-wide, angled out further into the stretch and gave way. GUARDINGTHEMONEY was forwardly placed early, moved three-wide through the second turn and weakened. ONE TUFF MINISTER lagged early, saved ground through the second turn and was not a factor. SALTY MINNOW raced five-wide through the first turn while being unhurried early, moved four-wide through the second turn and was eased through the lane.
