Chart notes
KATIE'S COWBOY raced close up early on the inside, was steadied nearing the turn, then lacked room between rivals on the turn and checked twice, angled out, split rivals in upper stretch, rallied between horses, charged to the front and held determinedly in a game effort. LUCKY LOVER BOY raced two wide off the pace, moved up three wide on the turn, steadied when lacking room at the quarter pole, rallied four wide into the lane, dueled, dug in gamely but second best. MAC'S REVOLUTION was off slowly, outrun early, made a five wide run at the quarter pole and rallied outside in the stretch. BUDDY'S RUN chased close up outside, bid three wide on the turn, dueled into the stretch and weakened. NO HITTER raced three wide off the pace, made a four wide run on the turn, dueled into the stretch and weakened. HIGHER PURPOSE showed good early speed to set the pace, dueled between rivals on the turn and faded. KONG STYLE showed good speed on the rail, dueled inside on the turn and gave way.
