Chart notes
ROYAL ATHENA stalked the early pace, then made a three wide bid leaving the five sixteenths pole, got on even terms nearing the sixteenths pole, then edged away to prove best to score the victory. AZIPASS set the early pace and was headed nearing the sixteenths pole and proved to be no match for that rival late while clearly second best. CROWELLA was allowed to settle three wide by the quarter pole and offered a mild late rally to best the rest. OXBOWINDY was allowed to settle four wide and tired. PLEXUS was allowed to settle early on the inside, then pulled up by the furlong marker and was vanned off.
