Chart notes
BOASTER stalked two deep then challenged leaving the three eighths pole, dueled to even terms midway on the far turn, drifted toward the head of the lane but dug in to take over past the eighth pole, ran clear mid-stretch and widened under steady handling. V. I. P. TICKET settled off the pace about the three path then eased out into the backstretch, started a bid past the seven sixteenths pole, ran two deep on the far turn, eased outward in the upper stretch then dueled to take second the final strides. WILLIAM AND MARY raced in the four path the first turn then saved ground into the second turn and settled off the pace, bid approaching the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail then outfinished in the stretch duel for second. CHARITABLE SPENNY quickly took over to rate a short lead inside, came under pressure toward the three eighths pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn, was met midway on the turn, gave up the lead past the eighth pole then flattened the final sixteenth. AWSOME FAITH settled off the pace toward the inside, picked up the chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn then eased out into the lane and showed little further. FINAL SAY rounded the opening turn about the three path and settled off the pace, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole then flattened stride in the six path of the far turn. BLACK STEEL rounded the first two turns in the five path then faded past the seven sixteenths pole.
