Chart notes
MIDNIGHT DRAGON rated close through the backstretch then challenged at the quarter pole, took the nod two deep midway on the turn, dueled clear mid-stretch and was steadily handled to draw away later yards. GRANDMA SCHNUR engaged in close early chase, rounded the turn at the rail then eased out into the lane and dueled for second later yards. DIGGIN FOR DOUGH moved to the front toward the seven sixteenths pole and rated a slim lead, gave up the nod at the rail midway through the turn, raced close in the upper stretch then flattened the final sixteenth. RED LIL SHIPMENT chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn off the rail and ran evenly in the lane. SUPER EIGHTY EIGHT chased inside, rounded the turn at the rail and finished evenly. EVA'S GIRL GRACE came away rank and made contact with Going Strapless, picked up the chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn but showed little in the lane. DOWN UNDER THUNDER gave chase inside then weakaned in the four path of the turn. GOING STRAPLESS was bumped at the break and never factored.
