Chart notes
GABBY SQUARED pulled early on the inside, tracked inside, was shuffled back a bit on the far turn, angled out at the top of the lane, closed willingly outside, ran past the leaders and was in hand for the final strides. VICIOUS VELMA vied inside for the lead, dueled inside on the far turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch drive and earned the place spot. FACE CARD CONTESSA raced off the early pace, moved up three wide to contest the pace, dueled two wide on the turn and dug in gamely past midstretch. SPRING INTO ACTION was reluctant loading and fractious behind the gate, then vied two wide for the early lead, chased inside, angled out for the drive and weakened. EARLY EDITION raced off the pace, had an inside trip and failed to threaten. AGELESS ARTIST stalked close up two wide, chased on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. BRAMBLE BUSH raced three wide early, vied four wide at the half mile marker, then chased and faded. VARSITY KICKLINE (IRE) raced off the pace, moved up five wide to contest the pace at the half mile marker, chased and gave way.
