A. C. RIGGS wasn't far back outside, moved to vie three wide on the turn, ran clear before five furlongs then widened under urging. FREE TO RUN showed speed two wide, took over midway on the turn then weakened. EMPRESS NEFERTITI trailed early, made a wide run around the turn and passed tired ones. EMILIA STRONG advanced the rail on the turn then weakened. QUEST FOR JUSTICE made the early pace inside and stopped in the lane. SILVER LOCKS was unwilling to load, had her head turned to the inside at the break, left far behind the field, advanced outside early, was four wide around the turn then stopped.
