GENERAL STRIKE tracked the pace early, raced in the two path along the turn, was in the four path into the lane while making a bid, inched clear near the eighth pole but was put under a long drive and gave in during the late stages. NORGAY was a tad slow at the start and raced back early on, was in the four path through the turn, altered out once in the stretch under a rally and moved up late in the stretch run.
