Chart notes
SHARMEL raced unhurried early from the inside, steadied nearing the three-eighths marker, angled in approaching the stretch and wore down FINISHED MY P H D in the closing strides. FINISHED MY P H D sprinted clear at once, raced off the rail through the turn, remained in control through mid-stretch and yielded to the winner late. MISS MONIQUE broke sharply to chase the pace of FINISHED MY PH D while racing four-wide and gave way through the final furlolng. WISHFUL WON was forwardly placed early, moved three-wide through the turn and lacked the needed late response. SHES GOT THE POWER showed no early speed, raced six-wide through the turn and was not a factor. DON'T RUB IT was void of early foot, raced five-wide through the turn and did not offer a bid.
