Chart notes
EL BEAUTIFUL broke alertly and set the pace while saving ground on the turn, had a clear lead off of the turn, was pressured in the final sixteenth but was urged and held on over an oncoming runner-up. HEAT N REHEAT attended to the early pace from a three wide position, lost ground off of the turn but was closing well in the stretch, pressured the winner in the final sixteenth and bested the rest. MR BOTANICALS chased the early pace from a midflight position, was four wide on the turn and was outfinished while running on the left lead in the stretch run. MYSTIC TRAVELER stalked the pace from a six wide running position on the turn and did not offer a late bid in the stretch. LOVE OF THE SPORT chased the early pace from a forward position, saved ground on the turn and weakened in the final going. BETTER TOMORROW chased the pace, was five wide between horses on the turn and gave way in the stretch.
