Chart notes
TOWN CRUISE took a short early lead, moved clear through the turn then held sway under a hand ride. SPACE TRAVELLER (GB) bumped with DUKE OF HAZZARD leaving the gate, settled in mid pack, came two to four-wide through the turn, rallied, was lugging in a bit through the stretch but gamely gained the place. RAGING BULL (FR) raced in mid pack, was hustled three-wide on the turn, tipped out at the top of the stretch and rallied gamely outside. MARCH TO THE ARCH settled in mid pack along the rail, tried to move to the outside from the rail, was steadied, moved back to the fence and showed a late run. RIDE A COMET settled off the pace, was hustled two to four-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch but lost positions late. DUKE OF HAZZARD (FR) was bumped from both sides at the break, forced the pace, chased two-wide on the turn and was outkicked by several rivals in the stretch. SET PIECE (GB) settled off the pace, trailed into the stretch, encountered traffic i the stretch and was inching up late. OLYMPIC RUNNER raced in mid pack, came two-wide through the turn, lost his path at the 16th pole then tendered a mild late run. AVIE'S FLATTER, bumped at the start, raced in mid pack, was steadied repeatedly on the backstretch, settled on the turn, angled from the rail to three-wide late turn, chased into the stretch but his rally stalled in the final furlong. CHANGE OF CONTROL raced in mid pack, lost his path at the eighth pole and dropped back.
