INGERSOLL was a bit slow at the start, tracked the pace early, was in the two path into the lane, bumped along the inside under a long drive down the lane, dug in during the final stages but just missed at the wire. WILD APPEAL set the pace early, was in the three path into the lane and between horses in the upper stretch, was bumped hard by FLORIDA GATOR, battled on down the lane under a long drive, the rider lost the whip near the sixteenth pole and gave in during the final stages. PRINCE OF GLORY trailed the field throughout. ALONG WITH A STEWARDS INQUIRY, THE RIDER AND TRAINER OF WILD APPEAL CLAIMED AN OBJECTION AGAINST FLORIDA GATOR FOR INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RUN AND AFTER REVIEW BY THE STEWARDS FLORIDA GATOR WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED THIRD FOR THE INFRACTION.
