Chart notes
TAKE CHARGE DEPUTY stalked the pace of FOREVER GOLD while racing four-wide, responded when set down for the drive and wore that rival down in the final yards to be clear late. BIG ENDEAVOR tracked the pace of FOREVER GOLD from the inside, angled out into the stretch, could not match strides with the winner but was clearly second best. FOREVER GOLD sprinted clear at once, increased his advantage into the stretch and gave way through the final furlong. VICENTE'S SHADOW was forwardly placed early, moved three-wide through the turn, angled out further in mid-stretch and failed to menace. MUNCEY showed no early speed, saved ground through the turn and did not reach contention.
