VRONILLA PARFAIT dueled with MISS SKI for early pace duties, took over from that rival on the turn, had a clear lead into the stretch and won in a drive. ST. ANNIE'S INDY tracked the pace from a three wide running position and was outkicked in the streingtch, while holding for second. MISS SKI dueled for early pace duties with VRONILLA PARFAIT, gave up the lead to that foe on the turn, gained ground in the final furlong but was outfinished, missing for second. NAMORITA stalked the early pace from a ground saving position and finished evenly in the stretch. SPUN AWAY chased the leaders from a two to three wide running position and weakened in the stretch. SMOKINHOTREDHEAD had no speed in the early going and was not a factor.
