Chart notes
SUMO vied three deep early then dueled outside MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE, cleared that rival at the five-sixteenths pole, put to right-handed urging past the three-sixteenths pole and remained clear to the wire. DISCO BALL stumbled leaving the gate, chased outside a rival, went three wide around the turn, continued to give chase behind the winner through the lane and finished a game second in defeat. VETOED showed early speed inside the top pair then dropped back a bit to chase, navigated the turn in the two path, steered out in upper stretch and lacked a late bid. NOTHNGOODCOMSEASY went two wide into the turn, eased out and came four wide into the drive and was not a factor. MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE vied between rivals early then dueled inside SUMO for command, failed to match strides with five-sixteenths to go, chased along the rail into the stretch and gave way.
