Chart notes
TOFFEN dueled briefly then stalked the pace, forced the issue through the turn, rebid upper stretch, had command a furlong out and drove clear and was taken in hand near the wire. LADY GRACE raced in mid pack, was hustled from the rail late turn and was all out and gaining in the stretch. ROSEBUD'S HOPE settled in mid pack, was hustled four then three-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch and finished gamely. ROMAN D'ORO raced in mid pack, chased two-wide late turn then finished with a mild rally. AMAZIMA bumped with ROYAL WEDDING at the break, settled off the pace, came three and four-wide through the turn then rallied from the outside. SISTER PEACOCK dueled briefly and drew clear, was under pressure through the turn and was headed with a furlong to run and yielded. ROYAL WEDDING bumped with AMAZIMA leaving the gate and settled in mid pack, was hustled three-wide on the turn but lacked a closing response.
