Chart notes
ALBAHR (GB) hopped out of the gate, closed to mid pack, came two-wide through the turn, swung out a bit and launched his rally, closed quickly, led a furlong out, widened, then held sway under a brisk hand ride. GRAFTON STREET was rated off the pace, closed two and three-wide on the turn, angled out upper stretch, launched his rally and was closing late. DEGREE OF RISK stalked the pace, was hustled three-wide on the turn, drifted out at the top of the stretch but quickly ducked in and was outkicked by rivals. FIRST EMPIRE sprinted to a clear early lead, set a reserved pace, was under pressure late turn, shook clear at the top of the stretch but was passed a furlong out and gave way. DRIPPING GOLD was in range early then settled in mid pack, saved ground on the turn but lacked a closing response. READY FOR THE LADY settled in mid pack, was hustled three and four-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch but failed to menace. LUCKMAN was herded early and pushed behind rivals, trailed into the turn, chased along the rail but never reached contention. HEAT MERCHANT stalked the pace in hand, closed two-wide on the turn, bid mid stretch but was outkicked by rivals. SOUPER LEGACY raced in mid pack, closed four then three-wide on the turn, dropped back approaching the stretch and lacked a rally.
