Chart notes
MARK THE MOOSE stalked the pace on the inside, raced blocked through the turn, waited, came through while blocked, then angled widest, made a steady gain and edged up late. WINGSPUN rated back in the early going, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, bid three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain, shook clear inside the furlong marker, then was no match for the winner and held the place. KISS PRINCIPAL well placed, gained a striking position on the two path through the second turn, bid on that path into the stretch, made a steady gain, edged ahead at the furlong marker, then drifted in and weakened. RICHARD HOOTY allowed to settle, moved up inside through the second turn, angled out in the stretch and passed a tiring rival. SAVAGE SAILOR set the pace off the rail, shook clear down the backstretch, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then faded the final furlong. MIDNIGHT RAID was never involved.
