Chart notes
STEVIS MAN sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held that margin without challenge, then drew off in the lane and was kept to the task. CAPTAIN MAD JACK allowed to settle, looped up three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch, angled out for clear racing room and edged up for the place in the final strides. OLDZFOURFORTYTWO well placed and outside, angled in to save ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch and was outfinished for the place. COOPER'S CRESCENT tracked the pace, saved ground on the two path through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch and flattened out. FUEL THE BERN mid pack, moved up two and three wide through the turn bid three wide into the lane and weakened. FOX ROX ran evenly. PIPER HILL was never involved.
