Chart notes
TWISTED SUNSET Set the pace along the two path, was collared at the top of the lane, responded when asked, took charge leaving the furlong marker and under the whip proved best. BLOOD MOON Broke sluggishly, gained along the three path into the turn, five wide out of it and finished well. HEALY'S HOPE Broke sluggishly, unhurried along the two path, four wide into the lane and closed well. UNWAVERING Well placed four wide, gained along the three path to reach the leader, battled some and weakened. GOLDMINE KAZ Well placed along the rail, waited for room nearing the quarter pole and weakened. PEAK'N POOK Broke sluggishly, angled to the rail, took the two path midway on the turn, appeared blocked nearing the quarter pole to the three-sixteenths pole, angled in and weakened inside. STRIKING MIKE Ducked out at the start, tracked along the three path and was done into the lane. X Y RUNNER Broke awkwardly spotting the field three lengths and was outrun.
