Chart notes
IGNITION KEY took the lead off the rail into the first turn and rated the pace, came under pressure leaving the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and was kept alert to widen down the lane. FORT ZANNA came through the opening turn in the three path and settled off the pace leaving the turn, picked up the chase approaching the three eighths pole, though, had to settle for second best. CHOSEN MISS had a brief early lead three wide then stalked into the first turn, gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn two deep then dueled through the stretch for third. BELLA GABRIELLA checked at the rail off the inside flank of Ignition Key into the first turn and settled close, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn then outfinished in the stretch duel for third. GOING STRAPLESS showed little response through the backstretch.
