Chart notes
RULES quickly took control, widened into the stretch and maintained a long lead under moderate pressure. ADMIRAL EASTWOOD dropped far behind then advanced near the inside to gain place. INDIRECTLY dropped back, moved near the inside, angled out and rallied. JOINT AND SEVERAL pressed winner inside, pursued on the turn and faded. DOUGIE dropped back inside and rallied mildly. WICKED STRONG ALEX was urged close up inside on turn, moved out and tired. BILL'S MAFIA lacked speed and was never a factor. SAGE CANYON raced far behind then passed fading rivals. ANZIO BEACH urged close up down the backstretch then faltered. DEFIBRILLATOR raced within range outside, moved very wide on the turn and faded. ELITE MISSION chased outside in midpack and stopped.
