JOVIS rushed up inside to join the pace fray after a furlong, vied inside rivals leaving the far turn, rated back off foes near the three eighths, angled out and picked up momentum past the five sixteenths, bid four wide outside the dueling leaders nearing mid stretch, took command soon after, switched over to his correct lead near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. W W SPRINGTIME , bumped at the break, sped to the front, was joined from his inside nearing the five eighths, briefly went clear with a half to go then was re engaged around the far turn, took pressure from his outside by STROLL SMOKIN with three eighths remaining, dueled to the inside of that one to mid stretch, kept on as the winner rolled up outside, battled to the sixteenth marker then stayed on well to save the place. STROLL SMOKIN , bumped at the break, pulled his way forward while between rivals heading to the furn, bid three deep soon after, dueled outside W W SPRINGTIME, fought between horses past the furlong grounds then gave way grudgingly. EASTERN BAY broke outward and bumped a rival, lagged off the pace, saved ground into the lane, shifted out and got going too late. CLASSY SOLUTION gave four wide pursuit, stayed in range to mid stretch then faded. BAPTIZE THE BOY , bumped at the break, dropped off the pace, raced three to four wide but failed to respond.
