Chart notes
BELLE OF THE NORTH , snugly rated down the backstretch, moved up in hand along the inner rail leaving the turn, angled to the three path approaching the eighth pole, swept to command eagerly drew out under hand urging. MAGGIE'S BID prompted the pace outside BEAUTIFUL FAREWELL and gave way the final furlong. BY THE HOUR bumped with GINAMAYA leaving the staring gate, well placed along the inner rail entering the turn, eased out mid way on the bend, floated to the four path approaching the eighth pole and gave way. BEAUTIFUL FAREWELL set a pressured pace along the inner rail and faltered in mid stretch. SPECIAL FREEDOM raced in the three path between horses on the turn and retreated through the stretch. SOME IS NINE , four deep on the turn, dropped back through the stretch. GINAMAYA bumped with BY THE HOUR leaving the starting gate, chased the pace in the two path down the backstretch, faltered on the turn and was eased.
