Chart notes
CLEVER UNION was settled early then rallied on the inside into the far turn, was three wide in upper stretch and in a strong drive and wore down FLATOUT WINNER in late stretch to be best in the end. FLATOUT WINNER set a well handled pace from the start, was in a long drive then had his whip knocked out of his hand in upper stretch and gamely dug in throughout late stretch but hung in the end. REMEMBER ME TONY stalked the pace while inside on the backstretch, made a bid in upper stretch and put a head in front just before the furlong marker but came up empty in late stretch. BATTLESHIP BEVO was allowed to settled while four wide on the backstretch then failed to menace. TEXAS GOLD RUSH was unhurried early while inside on the backstretch and far turn then was no threat in the stretch drive. KEESAWAH was allowed to settled while three wide on the backstretch then faltered.
