Chart notes
TOWERING CHANCE took the lead nearing the three quarter pole and angled to the inside to rate the pace, was met into the backstretch and dueled with the advantage from that point, drew clear past the quarter pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and held well under steady stretch handling. DEPUTY JAMES became a bit edgy in the gate and settled off the pace in the three path the opening turn, eased out into the backstretgch and bid toward the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the four path, dug in through the stretch and took second the final strides. LIL TOUGHMAN settled just off the early pace about the four path, gave chase nearing the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path, threatened nearing the eighth pole and was steadily encouraged leaving the turn, though, was nipped from second the final strides. JACKLIGHTING settled just off the early pace toward the inside, picked up the chase past the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. TWENTYTWENTY stalked two deep the first turn and moved to even terms into the backstretch, dueled from that point but dropped back midway on the far turn and faded. MINI BOLT saved ground.
