Chart notes
SIR. REZ stalked the pace into the turn, circled rivals three wide to make the lead entering the stretch and drew off late under a brisk hand ride. SCORZA pressed the pace two wide, dug in late in the four path and gamely gained second. COOLER bore in at the start bumping a rival, continued inward for several strides, set the pace to the top of the stretch then was outfinished. KINGDOM DIAMOND was bumped at the start then failed to menace. JOHNNY C was outrun. SOMETHING SACRED was no factor. CLASSIC VOLUME checked soon after start inside the leader, had speed into the turn then stopped.
