Chart notes
FOSTER BOI stalked the early pace from a ground saving position, mounted a bid inside of the final furlong along the rail and drew clear in the final strides. ICE OR FIRE tracked the early pace while two wide and was outkicked in the stretch. QUICK AND SILVER was away alertly and set quick fractions while saving ground and weakened in the stretch, while holding for third. SMOKIN ENCOUNTER chased the leaders from the rear of the field and did not offer a late rally in the stretch. TOMAHAWK TUESDAY was away a step slowly and had no early speed, saved ground on the turn and did not have a final kick in the stretch. MAD LUTHER stalked the early pace from the midflight while three to four wide and gave way in the stretch run. KATZUMOTO settled off of the pace from the middle of the field, saved ground on the turn and tired in the late going.
