Chart notes
PEACE ATTARDI dueled for the early lead two wide but on the inside of the trio, made a bid leaving the quarter pole to shake clear, then was clear by the sixteenths pole, then held on late to prove best under a drive. JO JO HANS chased the early pace on the inside, was boxed on the turn, then steadied by the furlong marker, angled out late to be gaining late. NORTHERN SPY dueled for the early three wide and came four wide into the drive and stayed on but needed more. BETTHEOVER stalked the early pace four wide, then was two wide and in between rivals on the turn, came into the stretch but lacked the needed kick, steadied late. UNCLE GARY G was off slowly, then made a five wide bid on the turn but came up empty. BENCH PRESS was outrun early, was five wide by the quarter pole but had no rally. GANDI pressed the pace four wide and weakened. The jockey on JO JO HANS claimed foul versus the winner and the jockey on BETTHEOVER claimed foul versus JO JO HANS after reviewing the replays the stewards left the race as is
