Chart notes
CHARLIES SAFARI trailed for half a mile, advanced on the final turn then wore down the leader in the final furlong. BAR FOURTEEN forced the pace, took over inside on the final turn, dueled and continued gamely. SOUND THE CHARGE rated inside the dueling pacesetters, vied through the turn and faded. SMOKUM PEACE PIPE dropped back wide then passed rivals without menacing. POLPIS settled close up three wide, moved very wide in the stretch and faded. LIAR SIDE CHAT dropped back inside and gave way readily. FIFTY SHEAS OFGREY hustled to the lead inside for half a mile and stopped abruptly.
