Chart notes
EGO stalked the pace from the three path into the far turn, bid three wide approaching the five-sixteenths pole, hooked up with the runner-up entering the lane, dueled with that one through the final eighth, stepped in a bit late, brushed dueling foe then prevailed. LASTCHANCEATGLORY set the pace on a clear early lead, was under pressure down the backstretch and into the turn, joined by the winner after mid-turn, dueled with that one through the lane, was brushed very late and was denied. JOLTING JOE raced near the rail through the turns, moved up a place through the lane and settled for the distant show spot. MARKITOFF chased the pace from the two path into the far turn then was done near the five-sixteenths pole. LITTLE KANSAS pressed the pacesetter while two wide, was asked for more with the winner near mid-turn then was done entering the lane.
