Chart notes
SPEIGHTSFORD stalked the early pace then took over two deep midway on the first turn, drew clear of Fu Man Sue approaching the quarter pole and opened up at the rail on the far turn, then dug in under steady stretch encouragement to hold on. SOUND OFF saved ground well off the early pace, bid past the five sixteenths pole, steadily improved in the three path of the far turn, dueled for second in the upper stretch and was gaining late on the winner. FU MAN SUE had the early lead inside but was caught midway on the opening turn and stalked from the half mile pole, engaged in close chase leaving the three eighths but dropped back approaching the far turn, raced at the rail through the turn then ceded second in the upper stretch. ANOTHER VICTORY settled off the early pace about the three path, started a bid nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn just off the rail then flattened the final furlong. NOMO RON raced off the early pace inside, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole but faded into the far turn.
