Chart notes
JOHNNY trailed the field, advanced inside under encouragement in the far turn, circled into the lane, offered a powerful finish to get up in time. MAKE GOOD CHOICES bumped ALONGTHEWATCHTOWER in the first turn, took back entering the backstretch, stalked the pacesetters three to four wide, challenged the leaders at the seven sixteenth pole, gained an advantage and was caught late. ETU BABOU chased wide throughout the backstretch and improve late getting by just in time. FOOT SOLDIER raced in the five path, gained closer order outside in the far turn, drove five wide into the lane and was out kicked for show. HERE COMES BARNEY vied outside then was brushed in the opening turn, led through the backstretch, was met entering the far turn by MAKE GOOD CHOICES, was unable to keep pace with rival and had nothing left in reserve for drive. ALONGTHEWATCHTOWER bumped MAKE GOOD CHOICES then was knocked off off stride in the first turn, pressed from the rail and tired early. BOLD AS BRASS was never far back and faded.
