Chart notes
LEADING WEST tracked the pace early, raced in the two path along both turns, took over command inside the three eighths pole and drew away down the lane while geared down in the final stages. FORT KNOX stalked the pace early, raced on the inside along the first turn, made a three wide bid along the far turn but was no match for the winner in the stretch run. A. K. SAFARI raced on the inside along the first turn and trailed the field early on, raced in the two path along the far turn, was in the four path into the lane and moved up in the stretch drive. ENGLANDER set the pace early, raced on the inside along both turns, was overtaken near the three eighths pole and caved down the lane. LEMONADE STAND was through after a half.
