Chart notes
ATLANTIC SUN (GB) set the pace on the inside, shook clear into the turn, then drew off in the lane and was kept to the task. SAMURAI ZIP tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, angled out to bid three wide into the lane, then made a steady gain and closed well for the place. BUZZ OFF well placed and between foes, gained position on the two path through the turn, bid three wide into the lane, then drifted in and edged up for the show. MR LIGHTNING BOY stalked the pace on the outside, angled in to save ground through the turn, came through inside and weakened the final furlong. BALK allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, came through inside and passed a tiring rival. BEACHSIDE well placed and outside, lost some ground three and four wide through the turn, fanned widest into the lane and faded.
