Chart notes
WALL settled back off the rail the first turn, started a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, steadily improved and took the lead in the three path approaching the top of the lane, ran clear leaving the turn and was steadily encouraged to draw off. WIDGET FACTORY took the lead at the three quarter pole and angled to the inside entering the first turn, came under pressure leaving the three eighths, was caught at the rail approaching the top of the stretch, dropped back a furlong away but dug in to retain second. HE'S NOT CURLY settled back inside on the first turn, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole but raced hemmed in at the rail on the far turn, eased out into the lane then flattened the final sixteenth. NOVA BOY saved ground, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the six path but proved empty in the lane. GOLDEN ANSWER settled off the pace inside the first turn, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole then weakened off the rail approaching the top of the stretch. CANDYGRAMFORMONGO stalked inside, gave chase toward the seven sixteenths pole then weakened while losing ground on the far turn. EPIC WEST raced off the pace two deep the first turn then faded past the seven sixteenths pole.
