Chart notes
SHY MONEY chased the pace from the two path into the turn, moved to the lead approaching the quarter pole, entered the lane from the three path when clearing on the field, dropped closer to the inside near the eighth pole and kept the lead while drifting out late. WINNING ROMANCE saved ground through the turn, came into the lane from the two path while moving out to pass a tiring rival, gained momentum through the final eighth and was gaining to the end. THE MARY ROSE was unhurried early while in the two path, came into the lane from the three path, was moving with the runner-up when bumped and brushed by another near the eighth pole then continued on to be gaining to the end. BLOSSOM ROAD set the pace near the rail into the turn, continued with a short lead through late turn then gave way along the rail. LOFTHOUSE was in the three path through the turn, bid from the four path into the lane, was a contender with an eighth to go then was empty the final sixteenth. LADY GUSTO was outrun from along the inside.
