Chart notes
FLANIGAN'S COVE stalked along the inside, shifted three wide leaving the three furlong grounds for clear sailing, took aim on a clear ENGLISH TREASURE approaching the furlong marker while exchanging brushes with an inner FAST AS FLIGHT, outkicked that foe and ranged up to the leader passing the furlong pole, dueled a sixteenth from home, and edged ahead late. ENGLISH TREASURE set the pace inside of a pair of pressing foes into the first turn, cleared off entering the backstretch, showed the way in hand around the far turn, shifted outwards subtly at the furlong pole causing FAST AS FLIGHT to shy, dug in passing that marker as FLANIGAN'S COVE menaced, gamely dueled with that rival into the final sixteenth, but was bested. BELLA CONCHITA tracked two wide, shifted four wide around the far turn, and chased the leaders through the lane. PALAMOS (GB) settled far off of the pace along the inside, shifted four wide into the far turn, then stayed on while lugging inwards on her left lead through the lane. FAST AS FLIGHT vied three wide into the first turn, took back to stalk around that bend, shifted down two wide passing the three furlong pole, came into the lane between horses, exchanged brushes with her outer counterpart approaching midstretch before shying from her inner drifting foe at the furlong grounds, steadied mildly, and gave way. MISS TULSA tracked along the inside, pulled in the bit into the backstretch, left the rail entering the lane, then shifted in and chased through the lane. TRICK HAT trailed, took the far turn four wide, and stayed on. DIBBLE DIBBLE saved ground far off of the pace, and failed to menace. WICKED INTENT was last away and never got involved. FLEETING GLIMPSE prompted the pace two wide, but failed to keep pace into the far turn, and weakened through the lane. LIZQUEENFLUERDELIS lied off of the pace three wide, came under all out pressure into the far turn, then weakened around it. THE RIDER OF FAST AS FLIGHT CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF FLANIGAN'S COVE FOR INTERFERENCE IN MIDSTRETCH, BUT IT WAS DISSALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
