Chart notes
SWEEPIN HARD stalked the pace on the backstretch, dueled two-wide through the turn, gained a short lead upper stretch and held under a drive. JEGOS FIRE raced in mid pack, was hustled four-wide on the far turn, launched a determined drive but hung late. WINGS OF VICTORY settled in mid pack, chased three to five-wide on the far turn then rallied outside. BOCELLI broke outward, stalked the pace, chased three and four-wide on the far turn, was lugging in through the stretch and evened out late. THE NEWFIE EXPRESS stalked the pace, was hustled angling from the rail to three-wide late turn and finished gamely. RIGHT TO STRIKE set a pressured pace, dueled on the far turn, was headed at the top of the stretch and gave way grudgingly. DADDYPLAYSTHEBLUES broke in the air and settled well off the pace, was hustled along the rail through the far turn but never reached contention. LIVERPOOL MAN hopped leaving the gate and settled off the pace, was hustled three-wide on the far turn but lacked a closing response.
