INFINITE PATIENCE raced four to five wide leaving the chute then sat in striking position, took command leaving the backstretch then turned back challenge from PLUM BLUE at the head of the stretch and was ridden out under a confident hand ride. PLUM BLUE lacked early foot, advanced quickly through the final turn, moved up menacingly into the stretch but was not match for the winner late. PEARL OF KNOWLEDGE broke alertly to set the early pace, was overtaken approaching the far turn and faded inside. LIGHT FAST FEET sat just off the pace in the three path and was unable to keep pace with the field with two furlongs remaining.
