Chart notes
AFFABLE came away quickly then raced three deep outside the top pair, vied into the turn then dueled with ESSENTIAL WAGER around the bend, took over in upper stretch then kicked clear with a furlong to go and won going away. ESSENTIAL WAGER off a bit slow then got bumped from outside causing him to stumbled, under a hold early then rushed up inside to take the lead, vied with outside pair leaving the backstretch, dueled from inside on the turn, could not kick on with AFFABLE entering the furlong grounds but stayed on for the place. THALES off slow to begin, tugged early from outside, driven three wide into the lane and lacked the needed late kick. MIACOMET broke slow then got sandwiched at the start, pulled the rider while erratic early, stalked two wide to the turn, lacked room along the inside at the three-eighths pole, stayed inside then a bit off the rail into the stretch and flattened out. AMERICAN ADMIRAL broke in and bumped rival, steadied behind rivals early and dropped to the back, taken out wideset then four wide into the turn, came three wide into the stretch and weakened. MONGOLIAN FORD sped to the front then vied between up the backstretch, dropped back around the turn, tired and eased in the drive and walked off.
