Chart notes
DEE GEE was unhurried early to lay off the early going, moved up midway around the far turn, raced between rivals through the stretch while racing five wide and surged clear late under strong handling. SWANEE pressed the early leader, led briefly near the sixteenth pole but couldn't hold off the winner in the final stages. CROWN KITTEN settled off the top pair, raced five to six wide into the upper stretch and kept on to the wire. BUSY PAYNTER showed good early speed to set the early pace and weakened through the stretch run.
