Chart notes
EMPIRE HOUSE was forwardly placed to lay up close, moved up six wide into the upper stretch and finished gamely to be clear late under steady handling. GAYLES EVENING showed good early speed to set the early pace, raced four deep in the upper lane and finished second best. JEANNE B stalked the early pace, made a four wide bid, angled in and finished willingly to the wire. EXQUISITE LEGACY settled off the early pace, raced five deep at the three sixteenths pole and had no late rally. SWIFT NONNI pressed the pace from the inside and gave way. TORREY'S GIRL was slow early and trailed throughout.
