Chart notes
BOTTLE NECK stalked the pace of HERE'S THE THING while racing three-wide, moved up to take command with a sixteenth to run and edged clear. HERE'S THE THING was away in good order to set a pressured pace, opened a clear margin nearing the three-eighths pole, remained in control and yielded to the winner through the final sixteenths. WISHFUL WON was reserved just off leaders early, moved three-wide through the second turn and finished with some late run. GREAT CURVES showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the second turn and finished evenly. FINISHED MY P H D pressed the pace from the inside and weakened after going three furlongs. KITTY CREED bobbled at the start, lacked early foot, raced four-wide through the second turn and did not menace. GOOD JOB JACKIE settled off the leaders from the inside and gradually weakened.
