Chart notes
GUNFIGHTERJUSTICE chased the pace from the three path into the far turn, was asked for more near mid-turn, quickly gained the lead approaching the five-sixteenths pole, was clear into the lane then drew away when asked. MR. SARCASTIC was in the three or four path through the turns, came into the lane from the four path with aim on the leader, could not gain on that one but kept on to be well clear for the place spot. COUNTING COUP raced in the two or three path through the far turn, swung into the lane from the five path and moved up while not a threat to the top ones. JOHNSTOWN JOHNNY saved ground through the far turn when never far back then tired through the lane. SEQUAYA pressed the pace two wide into the far turn then faded. RHETT THOMAS set the pace while in the two path into the far turn then gave way once passed by the winner.
