Chart notes
PUBILIUS SYRUS was reserved early on the inside, eased out to make a four wide move on the turn and come into the drive five wide, closed on the outside to get up in time under a drive. SOUPER CATCH vied for the early lead and made a three wide bid to shake clear on the turn then remained clear by the furlong marker but was caught in deep stretch to just fail. UNION GEN. GEORGE was rated along the inside, then made a three wide bid leaving the turn, then angled back inside to be on the inside by the furlong marker and was up for the show award late on the inside. YES SIR COLONEL tracked the early pace three wide, made a four wide by the quarter pole but flattened out. HALITE lacked a rally. SHANGHAISCHOOL vied for the lead on the inside and stopped.
