Chart notes
MACHO ROCKET MAN set the pace on the inside, shook clear into the stretch, then drew off and was kept to the task. VOYANT vied for the early lead on the outside, held position through the turn, bid outside into the lane, then was no match in the late going and held the place. PALMETTO BLUE well placed and outside, held position three and four wide through the turn, bid four wide into the lane and closed well for the show. WROTE IN STONE well placed and outside, held position three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the lane, drifted in and evened out. MERCEDES JOE mid pack, held position on the two path through the turn, angled in and came through inside into the stretch and ran evenly. LORD BYRON mid pack, moved up on the two path through the turn, bid on that path into the lane and weakened the final furlong. ENLISTED was no factor. WILD CHASE was never involved.
