MARMALADE tracked the pace, was blocked through the turn, waited, came through on the two path, then angled out, made a steady gain and missed. DANCE THE DAY AWAY allowed to settle, looped up three wide through the second turn, bid four wide into the lane and lacked the needed late kick. OVER TO YOU well placed and outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, bid three wide into the lane and flattened out. HONEY BOURBON ran evenly. HOLMDEL PARK stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader and weakened in the stretch. GOOD ALTERNATIVE was no factor.
