ABSOLUTE GRIT bumped with rival at the start, applied pace pressure to CITIZEN WEST in opening stages, continued in aim of rival two wide around the turn, vied for the lead into the lane then edged away approaching the final sixteenth. CITIZEN WEST bumped with rival at the start, held a slim lead over ABSOLUTE GRIT in early stages, continued with a slight edge around the turn, dueled for the lead in stretch run then failed to maintain terms in late stages. SMILING TEUFLES raced outside a foe in the second flight, was ridden along four wide into the lane and stayed on for a share. VINNY DREAM raced in the back, saved ground around the turn, tipped out wider for the drive and failed to move on. LOST A LEGEND raced off the top flight in early stages, remained in range around the turn then came out four wide into the lane and faded. WAR FEATHER raced off the second flight in the opening quarter, went three wide around the turn and retreated.
