Chart notes
JADE DELTA broke outward and settled off the pace, closed two-wide on the turn, moved to the rail upper stretch, rallied and was up late under a drive. HOLLYWOOD RING, in range, was hustled four-wide on the turn then closed gamely outside. POPTHECHAMPAGNE, in range, chased on the turn, led upper stretch and drove clear, came out under left-handed encouragement at the 16th pole and more so 70 yards out and was passed late. HONEY GIRL raced in mid pack, was hustled four and five-wide on the turn then closed gamely outside. TOOSEXYFORMYPANTS led briefly but was headed, pressed the pace, came three-wide through the turn, was steadied a 16th out and checked at the 70 yard pole, both times losing her path when her rival came out in front. AUDITION raced in mid pack, was hustled from the rail and two-wide on the turn then rallied gamely. QUIET ASCOT led briefly entering the main track, dropped back on the turn then chased in the stretch. SEA OF DIAMONDS was away poorly and settled off the pace, was roused three-wide late turn but failed to menace in the stretch. DRUMGREENAGHBRIDGE raced in mid pack, came two-wide and along the rail on the turn but lacked a closing response. NO MORE FENCES was off slowly and steadied, showed speed and had the lead on the backstretch, moved clear into the turn, set the pace, was passed upper stretch and faded. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN AS WELL AS A CLAIM OF FOUL LODGED BY THE RIDER ON TOOSEXYFORMYPANTS AGAINST POPTHECHAMPAGNE FOR INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH RESULTED IN POPTHECHAMPAGNE BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED 5TH.
